Why did I write this American Revolution novel?
I think Stephen Crane, the author of The Red Badge of Courage, expressed it perfectly when he said, “Reading the cold history was not enough. I wanted to know what it was like to be there, what the weather was like, what the men’s faces looked like.” This desire for more than just facts drives many readers to seek out historical fiction and delve into revolutionary war books, as they offer a deeper understanding than traditional history books.
About Me:
I am a history buff and have always been fascinated by the American Revolution, especially the events that took place on the land where I tread every day. I majored in Journalism while attending the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. "The Far Corner of the Field" is my debut novel. I split my time between Boston and Vermont with my wife and dog.
